A classical late 19thC English school marine painting showing a large sailing ship out at sea waiting for the return of a rowboat filled with fishermen. The smaller boat is hauling nets from where a river estuary with its brackish colored water meets the blue sea.  Painted on board and set in a gilded period frame; signed by an English Victorian artist W.B Webb (1860-1895) dated: ’85.
