A heavy silver-plated jewellery box with overall scroll work raised on the top and four sides. The overall design includes flowers, scrolls, etc. and the top features a shaped medallion which was likely meant for an engraved name or monogram. The box is lined with red velvet and the metal work appears to be unsigned. Likely English mid 20thC.
