Napoleon III Ebonized and Brass Inlaid Cabinet


A very fine quality French cabinet referred to as a Meuble d’Appui. The piece was made in Paris during the reign of Napoleon III circa 1870. The ebonized cabinet is inlaid with brass and has all-over lavish gilded bronze mounts and mouldings. The cabinet has it’s original fossil marble top (grey/black). The front door opens to reveal a shelved interior.
