A rare pair of Paris Porcelain Vases, Circa 1805 depicting hand painted themes from classical. mythology in the middle section of the body, the remaining surface gilded with relief and tooled ornamental designs. An especially rare element of these vases are their twin handles in the form of gilded busts of winged classical maidens emblematic of porcelain produced for royalty or nobility. The vases are in exceptional condition for their age with some minor rubbing of the gilding evident on their bases. There are no chips cracks or repairs.
