“Listening To The Wind” Bronze by Lee Gass


A sensuous looking modern bronze sculpture on a black marble base called “Listening to the Wind” by BC born artist Lee Gass.  Lee Gass has been carving as a hobby for over 60 years but after 30 years as a hummingbird researcher and award-winning UBC professor, he took early retirement and moved to Quadra Island to pursue his dream.  He built a studio, and now sculpts full-time, producing stone originals and limited-edition bronzes of them. This bronze was created in 2008.
