Large Glazed English Victorian Majolica Stand/Pedestal

A very large Majolica stand/pedestal having dark green glazing; the circular top (detachable) supported by three decorative lion’s head monopaedia; the three ‘legs’ sit on a stepped triangular base. Wear to the top suggests that there was something that sat there, possibly a flower urn. The stand was likely made in the English Minton factory or the French Palissy Factory in the late 19th century. There is an old repair (crack), just above one of the lion’s paw feet, and as mentioned above the top shows signs that there was something that originally sat there.
