Grey Marble Column with Gilt Bronze Trim

This particular column is made of a white flourite marble called ‘Lilac’. It is heavily veined in brown and black on a white background with touches of light red/lilac colour. Below the rectangular top there is a gilt bronze banding as well as bronze banding at the bottom of the column. Made in Italy in the early 20thC.
