18th Century Painted Georgian Console


A rare Georgian console table in the manner of William Kent, the carved frame is of pine and was likely originally water-gilded. The apron is fluted with rosettes above the four front and two back twist fluted legs; there were possibly carved swags between the tops of the front legs; original Sienna marble top with old restorations; reportedly belonged to the Weyerhouser family of Washington state.
