French Empire Style Mahogany Console with Gilt Bronze Mounts and a Mirrored Back

A classic 19th century French Empire cuban mahogany console fronted by round columns with gilt bronze capitals and a top rail of the console centered by a gilt bronze mount featuring acanthus leaves and a the head of a classical maiden wearing a rosette and garland crown. The back of the console is mirrored and is framed by rectangular supporting pilasters with gilt bronze trim at both the top and bottom. The console is finished a verde antico green marble top.
An added feature of this console is that the back is finished in mahogany as the rest of it allowing the console to be place in the center of a room rather than just a wall.
