A highly unusual large scale single French Empire wall sconce, the bronze having the finest chasing and gilding ever produced. A winged cupid rides a large cornucopia from which a number of cut crystal flowers and stems germinate. The elaborate cupid and the cornucopia are attached to a circular wall disc. The cupid holds aloft three candle arms now electrified. French circa 1825.
