A very generous scale Louis XVI style salon set comprising four oval backed arm chairs and a sofa. The deeply carved frames are finished in gold leaf and are upholstered in antique turquoise Italian silk velvet, which would be unavailable today at almost any cost. Made in France in the last quarter of the 19thC circa 1880.
