A French 19thC Malachite clock with a gilt bronze bust of a Young Napoleon

A simple yet elegant relatively rare malachite cased clock topped by a gilt bronze bust of a young Napoleon in uniform after the marble original work by Jean Antoine Houdon. The clock has it’s original steel string suspension movement ringing the hours and halfs on a bell. Note; an old chip on the back base of the clock has been expertly painted with faux malachite. Likely made in France in the late 19thC.
