Louis XVI Style Humidor
A 19th Century Louis XVI style tiered occasional humidor and table in well-figured mahogany with a galleried brocatelle marble top above two doors (and one false door front). The lower door opens to reveal a white marble lined bottom with an air circulation hole in the back of the compartment; (possibly a bedside table later re-fitted to store cigars). All sides of the case including the fluted legs are inlaid with gilded brass fillets; the table also has a lower shelf between the four legs.
