Period French Empire Chest of Drawers

A fine example of a French Empire mahogany commode embellished with gilded bronze mounts. ¬†The commode has its original fossil marble top above a narrow drawer, above three larger pull out drawers, each with gilded lion’s head handles and gilded escutcheons. The chest sits on two front lions paw feet and block back feet. ¬†French circa 1825.
