Period French Empire Chest of Drawers
A fine example of a French Empire mahogany commode embellished with gilded bronze mounts. The commode has its original fossil marble top above a narrow drawer, above three larger pull out drawers, each with gilded lion’s head handles and gilded escutcheons. The chest sits on two front lions paw feet and block back feet. French circa 1825.
