Paris Porcelain Brush Pot


A finely painted forest scene of a winged cupid standing with his arms outstretched assisting a very young girl kneeling who appears to have dropped her basket of eggs; the rear body of the pot is in cobalt blue with gilt classical borders and side eagles with wings outstretched; of the finest quality Paris porcelain of the early 19thC.  Paris circa 1820.
