Pair of gilt bronze mounted Chinese Celadon Vases/Lamps


A very handsome pair of Chinese celadon porcelain vases which were very likely exported to Paris in the late 19thC for the addition of gilt bronze mounts. Oriental porcelains were extremely fashionable throughout the 18th and 19thC in Europe and many of them were further embellished in gilded bronze. This pair of decorative vases were likely converted to lamps in the early 20thC. French late 19thC
