Pair of French late 19thC Gilt and Patinated Bronze Wall Sconces
A very unusual and stylish pair of French wall sconces which would likely date from the late 19thC. A finely chased patinated bronze child’s arm (one left and one right hand) is attached to a circular decorated gilt bronze wall mount, the child’s fingers holding a gilt bronze stylized candle shaft and nozzle. At some point the candle holders were electrified and have been recently rewired.
