A matching pair of round terracotta glazed Majolica plaques dated 1883 each featuring cameos of a roman emperor crowned by wreaths that symbolize two of the seasons viz., summer and fall. The classical
cameo profiles are in white glaze and are set on a Grecian blue background glaze the egg and dart rims are in yellow ochre.
