A Meissen porcelain cartel clock in the Louis XVI style; the predominantly pink case surmounted by a classical urn with goats heads and coloured enamel swags. Below the white enamel dial with Roman numerals is a well painted village scene. Meissen (or Samson) mark in under glaze blue, eight day French movement ringing the half hours and hours on a bell. French/German late 19th century.
