Louis XVI style Painted Table/Planter

A decorative painted and gilt circular table or planter on three legs; each leg is decorated with leaf work and is surmounted with a gilded goat’s head and terminates in a goat’s foot.  The planter skirt and lower shelf are decorated in gilded vitruvian scrolls. There is a lower shelf bordered with caning; the table has a detachable green marble top for either use. French circa 1930.
