Louis XV Style Gilt and Patinated Bronze Chenet Lamps

A unique and decorative pair of lamps, the bases originally a set of chenets, (fireplace andirons). The elaborate gilt bronze rococo scrolling bases entwine patinated bronze cupids each playing a musical instrument.  The upper scroll work terminates in bull rushes.  Recently electrified; French circa 1900.
