Bronze Statue of a Greek Athlete by Hans Keck

He is nude except for a front loin cloth; he raises a hand holding a sword by its blade with a winner’s laurel wreath around the hilt, and holds his helmet in his other hand. The bronze is by Hans Keck who was known to be active between 1900 and 1922. The bronze has a lovely patination signed H. Keck and with a foundry mark. Raised on a black marble pedestal base.
