Four Panel Gilt Framed Screen

An attractive four panel screen having clear glass panels to the tops of each panel. The frames are of carved and gilded wood decorated with interlacing circles; the bottom three quarters of each panel are upholstered in a black Empire design fabric with gold bees. The back of each panel is upholstered in a plain black fabric. French late 19thC.
