Early 20th Century Renaissance Revival Walnut Sideboard
A finely carved walnut sideboard/credenza in the Renaissance Revival style, made in the United States by the Royal Furniture Company, Grand Rapids Michigan, at the turn of the 20thC. There are three pull-out drawers one with a bronze Royal Furniture Company stamp below the rectangular top each with scrolling leafy carving to the front with a patinated bronze door pull. The top drawer section connects to the bottom shelf on two large outer classical scroll supports. The exposed lower back is in three parts each divided by carved circular columns and carved rondelles. The entire credenza is decorated with carved banding.
