Chinese Nanking Period Crackle Glaze Vase
A Late 19thC Nanking Period crackle celadon and ivory ground base with an enameled neck and tree trunk handles set on a Chinese gilt bronze base raised on elephant heads and stylized dolphin feet. The vase was later electrified and converted into a lamp evident from a silver inset in the neck and a hole at he bottom of a bronze plate under the base. The plate has not been removed to see if the vase has any markings. There is age related rubbing on the git bronze base but the porcelain vase itself is In excellent condition.
